 The winner of BBN season 5 Laycon said he is proud to be an iconic Nigerian as Nigeria celebrates her 60th anniversary

The star took to his Instagram page two days ago, wearing a white button down long sleeved T-shirt and long white pants made by lekucciglobal 



Laycon said "60 years ago, we transitioned from struggle to freedom as a Nation. We will never forget the patriotism of the brave hearts who gave life and limb to see a free Nation. May we continue to grow in true freedom, peace, unity, progress as a Nation and love for each other as a people, casting aside religious, ethnic or tribal barriers and remembering that, come what may, we are and will always remain One Nigeria.


Even as we are free, may we and all at different helms of affairs in our dear country continue to lead the Nigeria aright for with freedom, comes the responsibility of discipline and a need to herald the diversity that our dear Nigeria exists upon. May we all, as citizens of this great Nation, continue to strive to promote peace, harmony, unity, love in our homes and consequently, in our dear country, Nigeria.

Higher institutions in kano state to resume October 26th

As so many higher institutions within the country have resumed back to normal activities, kano state higher institutions are yet to resume Yesterday, Dr Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure kano state commissioner of higher education declared in a statement as she briefed  journalist in kano state ministry of education headquarters about the resumption of higher institutions in the state. Bunkure said that, the state government has slated 26th October 2020 as the resumption date for higher institutions in the state.  She added, saying, institutions in the state have prepared well based on the reports from officials assinged to go round and check how far institutions have gone with preparation of the complete return of students  The state government has urged the institutions to provide hand sanitizer and face masks to ensure compliance to COVID-19 protocols.
